Katerina realizează broderii detaliate ce reprezintă animale, păsări, flori, insecte, portrete, siluete sau detalii anatomice. Aripile păsărilor și îngerilor imaginați de artistă par să aibă dimensiune, iar ochii pe care aceasta îi creează au acea strălucire care îi fac să pară reali.

De obicei, artista sare peste partea de schiță și începe fiecare nouă broderie doar cu un contur, apoi lasă frâu liber imaginației și improvizației pentru a decide cum va arăta proiectul final. Un curs de cusut pe care l-a urmat în anul 2016 a inspirat-o să creeze o broderie pe o bluză din tule, iar în anul următor a absolvit un curs de broderie la celebra Ecole Lesage din Paris.
